For the series 'Dutch Masters in the 21th century' Katelijne directed a short documentary about visual artist Falke Pisano. This film is part of the 5th series 'Dutch Masters' and will premiere at Eye 23 January 2016. You can find more information about the Day-festival on Facebook.

GEORGICA won the prize for best documentary on Der Neue Heimatfilm Festival, Freistadt Austria. Katelijne was there to recieve the prize.

The film will also screen at the Milano Film Festival (10-20 September 2015). Katelijne is invited to attend the festival. Filmfest Eberswalde (3-10 October 2015, Germany) selected GEORGICA for competiton. GEORGICA will screen October 12th at MK2 (Quai de Loire) Paris, in the program Rendez-vouw des Docs.

Yesterday the final presentations of Curating Reality - New tools for investigative journalism, this year’s Sandberg at Mediafonds masterclass for designers and media professionals, took place at the promethean Eye Film Institute in Amsterdam. This is where Katelijne presented her proposal for developing an interactive documentary 'Why Watch' (Waarom Kijken).

Katelijne Schrama is the winner of a recent 4K-contest of Cinegrid Amsterdam. Of the many entries for the contest, the jury decided to follow her proposal to film red blood cells in 4K.

At the end of may 2010 we left to Germany for two days to shoot the film 1974. We are almost finished editing now. The sound still needs to be completed and has turned out to be quite an exciting challenge.

360º HORIZON published with a new book: HET BOERDERIJENBOEK

Het Boerderijenboek (The Farmbook) contains photographs and mini-historical overviews of every farm in the area Oostelijk Flevoland. They are archived by street name. First inhabitants (polderpioneers), second inhabitants and even third inhabitants of the same farm tell about their lives and their work. In the back of the book you can find the DVD of 360º Horizon.
